- I am a 34 year Mom and wife. I have 3 children, a daughter who is 12 (drama queen), a 9 year old boy (computer gaming geek) and a 7 year old little boy that has severe Autism. I started making candles at home because it is so hard for me to get a job that goes around with the kids when they have off, 1/2 days and all. No Daycare would take Jonny in so I decided to do my own business at home making candles. I love it! I love makimg them and also love the fact that my house always smells like a different scent everyday just from me making them!

Oh no Phillies fans, lmao. jk jk. Its all good hun. I still love you too. Im soo excited about the the game tommorow like i bet u all are. Well may the best team win right? lol. I really want to get one as soon as i can. U ship them or no? Just curious. They are beautiful. The scents u have soo yummy and the labels are cute too. Hey hun ty for letting me know about how to start making candles & such. Im definetly interested if u can let me know where u got the kit to start. I just want to test it out and see if I would get into it. But knowing me it prob wont last. lol. I prob wont have patience for it. lmao. Cause like you said with all the steps u have to do with getting them the right temp, etc. That sounds like alot of work to me haa, lol. You must have practiced lots hun. Cause my gosh there beautiful your doing a great job. I think its a great idea ur going to take classes soon too. I really see thats going to help you lots!
The best part is you doing this towards the holidays. You can offer specials, like buy 1 get one 1/2 off. Maybe offer ppl gift certificates so that they can give one to some1 to get a candle from u. Maybe even have like you said have the candles parties. Later on once you get more into it, you can start making soaps, spa like stuff. Maybe have spa parties. Im just throwing ideas at u. Cause i used to be a Avon lady I used to do stuff like that lol. Im so glad Kim got to help u too. Shes awesome. I bet it was a pain to get the air bubbles off the candles. Oh and i think the specialty candles ur making are beautiful.
The prices i think are great for those. Even more awesome your putting some of that towards the causes. U rock hun! I think your prices are reasonable especially once the jar sizes go bigger.I think the ten ounce one could be a bit cheaper. I know when i buy candles I dont like to spend more then 10 bucks a jar lol. Im kind of a cheap shopper though lol. I think too like i mentioned if u do deals once in awhile too it will
draw ppl in more. Start making ads for ur candles on myspace, craigslist. I do that with my readings and have gotten alot of ppl to contact me. Even make a page hun just for ur candles? I dont know, lol.

Hey sweety :) I think the special u have is awesome i truly do. i really cant wait to be able to buy one of ur candles. They sound and look just beautiful :) Thats an awesome deal too hun where if u buy the 3rd time u get it half off. See woman u are doing great u know what ur doing haa, lol. I bet u are getting swamped with orders if not like i said the holidays are coming up :) U will be swamped for sure lol. Oh no that sucks about ur myspace site that u do have with the candles u cant get in, lol. Bummer. But ur making a msn site great. Thats a good start im sure ppl will find it and grow crazy ordering from u :) Yeah thats true i think it would be a bit cheaper if you didnt have the pretty flowers and decor on the top. But u know what its better to have the flowers and decor on top
and pay a bit more i think. There beautiful. Plus u have to think
the time its takes for u to make it, the cost of all the material. I think ur prices are very fair i really do. I have seen many sites where they charge outrageous for their candles.
Not bad at all for the 4 oz scent only 8 dollars good deal. I think
the 12 dollar one is good too I do. You make them soo pretty. i know its worth the money :) My gosh again like i said before lol. u put too much work into it, u have to test it all out, try different ways. I know its tons of work to make the candles the way u want them. My gosh 2000 wow for all the stuff u had to get and what u put into it wow, lol. Thats alot of money i dont have lol. But hun i know even though u spent all that its worth it too it truly is ;) Thats why i love homemade candles because of smelling the scent from top to bottom. I love a candle that u can smell all over ur place. Oh hun u dont have to send me one. You are too sweet. ty ty. Hmm my fav scent thats tough lol. I just saw on ur myspace page the scents u have. I think i like betw the french vanilla cake or harvest berries. They are awesome hun. Im just so proud & excited for u :)
